Spatial Sciences Laboratory

Tulsa and Little Rock Districts of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are required to evaluate and assess flood damages to flood plain lands in Oklahoma and Arkansas based on changes in operating plans and flood releases from reservoirs in Oklahoma and Arkansas. An assessment is being made by the Spatial Sciences Laboratory to determine the availability of data and information to develop a comprehensive geo-referenced Geographic Information System (GIS) database for use in flood-related evaluations.
