US Army Corps of Engineers - Fort Worth District
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District and the University of North Texas Center for Watershed and Reservoir Assessment and Management (UNT-CWRAM) are conducting flood inundation studies along the Lower Colorado River, Texas. The Spatial Sciences Laboratory has been contracted to conduct the survey for these projects. This survey will entail approximately 26,000 individual structures along the Lower Colorado River beginning at River Mile 440 (Upper Lake Buchanan, Texas) and ending at River Mile 5 (North bank of the Inter-coastal Water Way, Matagorda Bay, Texas) and between river bank and the 100-year flood delineation.
